Lufthansa’s Allegris with Hotel-Style First-Class Suites is Expanding to 3 More U.S. 

Lufthansa is expanding its Allegris experience to more travelers this year. The German airline has announced new routes that will feature its upgraded in-flight offering, which includes a complete redesign of the economy, premium economy, business, and first-class cabins.

Starting March 30, passengers on flights from Munich to San Diego and from mid-April on New York-Newark will experience the refreshed interiors. Additionally, Allegris flights to Charlotte are set to begin in early August. The Allegris experience, launched in 2024, is a major upgrade in long-haul flight comfort and applies to all fare classes. Those who have already booked these routes will receive a complimentary upgrade to an Allegris seat.

Frontier Airlines Expanding with this New Routes.

Frontier Airlines is expanding its network this spring with 14 new routes, offering service to destinations across the U.S. and the Caribbean. To celebrate, the airline is offering fares as low as $19. Unless stated otherwise, the new routes will begin service on May 22.

Among the new additions, Frontier will introduce two routes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS): one to Miami (MIA) and another to Philadelphia (PHL), both with three weekly flights.

Other new routes include:

• Boise Airport (BOI) to Denver (DEN): Three times weekly starting May 15

• Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Cleveland (CLE): Three times weekly starting May 22

• Nashville International Airport (BNA) to Cleveland (CLE): Three times weekly starting May 23

• Denver (DEN) to Spokane (GEG): Three times weekly starting May 20

Additionally, Frontier will launch three new daily routes:

• Washington Dulles (IAD) to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)

Volaris Launches New Direct Flights Between Florida and Costa Rica.

Volaris Costa Rica, the ultra-low-cost airline, has announced the launch of new direct flights connecting Costa Rica with Florida and Mexico. Starting in July, the airline will offer daily service from Orlando to Juan Santamaría International Airport, as well as flights from Miami on most days of the week.

In addition, Volaris will increase the frequency of its Guadalajara to Costa Rica route, which will now operate four times a week, following strong demand since its debut last October. A new route between Tulum, Quintana Roo, and Costa Rica will also be introduced, offering flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

These new connections open up exciting opportunities for Costa Rica to attract more international tourists, particularly as Tulum’s Mayan World region becomes a popular gateway from Mexico to Costa Rica.
