Traveling to Thailand? A Big Change Is Coming – Here’s What You Need to Know!

Starting May 1, 2025, Thailand is introducing a mandatory Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) for all foreign visitors, whether you’re flying in, crossing a land border, or arriving by sea. This new system replaces the old paper TM6 form and is part of Thailand’s efforts to make travel smoother, safer, and more modern.
✈️ What’s Changing?
All non-Thai nationals must fill out the TDAC online within 72 hours (3 days) before arriving.
It applies to tourists, business travelers, visa holders, and even those entering under visa exemptions or visa on arrival.
You’ll no longer need the old paper immigration form – everything is digital now!
📝 What You’ll Need:
Passport details (name, number, nationality, DOB)
Travel info (flight number, port of entry, purpose of visit)
Accommodation address in Thailand
Contact info (mobile number and email)
A health declaration (if required)
✅ Key Highlights:
Submit online: Use the official portal at https://tdac.immigration.go.th
Group submissions: You can submit for up to 10 people at once
Make sure it's correct: Some info (like name or passport number) can’t be edited once submitted
Bring proof: Save your digital TDAC on your phone or print a copy to show at immigration
⚠️ Don’t Forget!
If you don’t complete the TDAC before your trip, you could face delays at the border. Officers may help you fill it out on arrival, but it’ll take longer—so it's best to do it ahead of time.
🌐 Why the Change?
The TDAC is part of Thailand’s push toward digital tourism and smarter immigration, alongside systems like e-Visas and digital health checks. It’s all about making travel to Thailand easier, safer, and more efficient for everyone.

FLIGHT HACK
Why You Should Always Bring Your Own Blanket!

Flight attendants advise travelers to avoid using complimentary airplane blankets, as they’re often unsanitary and reused between flights without proper cleaning especially on domestic routes. According to 20-year flight attendant Natalie Magee, these blankets have been misused for everything from wiping noses to changing diapers. Unless sealed in plastic, they likely haven’t been freshly laundered. Magee’s simple advice: bring your own blanket. Compact, soft, and easy to pack, personal travel blankets are a hygienic and comfortable alternative to those provided on board.
